This ring binder resource kit sets out the current legal and practice context and identifies the key steps that need to be considered in setting up advocacy services for families. The kit contains information that has been gathered by the Black and Ethnic Minority Advocacy Project, and draws upon materials produced by Family Rights Group's Advice and Advocacy Service, the Protocol on Advice and Advocacy for Parents in Child Protection Cases published by researchers at the Centre for Family Research, University of Cambridge and practice documents produced by the East London Advocacy Consortium.The kit provides useful contact details for partners organisations involved in the Black and Ethnic Minority Advocacy Project.
