Just wanted to let everyone know that there is a new support group in Kent called 2nd Time Around.

Based in Dartford we are small with a few members (from little acorns and all that) and would welcome anyone from the area to contact me for details of meetings. Our next one is on 5 July the venue will be confirmed but will have a creche facility if required.

I've talked to so many carers who've set up or run support groups, that I know just how valuable they are to the people who go to them.

It can take a little while for word of a support group for family and friends carers to get around - a lot of the most successful groups have started slowly and then built up. So if only a few people come at first, please don't be discouraged.
