Article 56 investigation

This has been ordered by the court after my ex partners solicitor recommended it. I am so anxious and worried about this as it could lead to a care order being implemented. Has anyone any experience of an article 56 investigation? Can give me some information of their experience?
Any help greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the parents' forum and thank you for your post. An Article 56 investigation is a piece of legislation under The Children (Northern Ireland) Order 1995. Therefore I assume that you and/or your children are living in Northern Ireland?
