Our online advice forums are an anonymous space where parents and kinship carers (also known as family and friends carers) can get legal and practical advice, build a support network and learn from other people’s experiences.
Our get help and advice section has template letters, advice sheets and resources about legal and social care processes. On Monday and Wednesday afternoons, you can use our webchat service to chat online to an adviser.
John has a management background in the non-profit sector, which includes 8 years in Latin America running youth and education programmes. Prior to joining FRG in October 2020, he worked as a senior manager for the development agency Restless Development, which empowers young people to transform their communities. While there he oversaw the government-funded volunteer programme International Citizen Service in Uganda, Nepal and the UK.
At FRG, John is responsible for performance oversight of its programmes and services, increasing operational efficiencies, and business planning. His areas of expertise include programme performance and evaluation, risk management and curriculum design. In his free time, John loves endurance sport, music and exploring new – and familiar – places with his wife and 2 daughters.
