Our online advice forums are an anonymous space where parents and kinship carers (also known as family and friends carers) can get legal and practical advice, build a support network and learn from other people’s experiences.
Our get help and advice section has template letters, advice sheets and resources about legal and social care processes. On Monday and Wednesday afternoons, you can use our webchat service to chat online to an adviser.
Patricia is currently a Director of Children’s Quality Assurance for Surrey County Council. She has an extensive Social Worker career working in both London boroughs and County Councils in a number of roles. In addition to this Patricia spent an earlier part of her career managing a residential Family Centre. Patricia is a strong advocate for keeping children and families together and was instrumental in progressing the implementation of the Family Drug and Alcohol Court in both London and Kent. She is also firmly committed to the promotion of family group conferences and managed two national high profile family group conference services.
