Family Rights Group’s vision is a society in which children are raised safely and thrive within their family, and where children in the care system have loving relationships to turn to throughout life.
Founded in 1974, our work combines commitment to human rights and social justice with expertise in child welfare law, policy and practice. We run a free, independent and confidential advice service and provide specialist legal advice to parents whose children are in need, at risk or in the care system and with members of the wider family who are raising children unable to remain at home. We promote quality family group conference practice, host the National Family Group Conference and Lifelong Links network, deliver a comprehensive events and training programme, and offer bespoke consultancy.
