Circles: Making the most of your time with a young person (Kempe International Conference)

Join us at the Kempe Centre International Virtual Conference – A Call to Action to change child welfare

Wednesday 9th October 2024 at 12pm BST

Relationships matter. No matter who we are, what age or stage of life. But for too many young people in care they are separated from the people who they care about and who care about and support them. Lifelong Links was developed by Family Rights Group to ensure that young people in care and care leavers have lasting, loving relationships they can turn to throughout life. Circles is the latest exciting new development of the Lifelong Links approach. Co-developed with young people and practitioners, Circles is a new online app to explore who in a child’s life is important to them. It helps map a child’s support network, find out who is there to help them, and how that changes over time.

Our speakers:

  • Lucy Hutchinson, Head of Programmes
  • Dawn Walsh, Lifelong Links and Family Group Conference Practice Adviser
  • Andrew Rist, Lifelong Links and Family Group Conference Practice Adviser
