An exciting opportunity is available to join the busy FGC Team. We are looking to appoint two full-time family group conference (FGC) Co-Ordinators one on a permanent contract and one on a 12-month contract.
In order to join our Family Group Conference team, we are looking for people from a range of backgrounds with experience of delivering direct holistic packages of support with children and their families using the Stockport Family Restorative Approach.
As a family group conference Co-Ordinator, you will have a range of responsibilities, with the focus primarily on families identified by Children Social Care requiring early intervention as an alternative to statutory processes. You will have the skills and experience to negotiate, manage conflict and bring family members together as decision makers.
You will be committed to the principles of our accredited Family Group Conferencing service which utilises the Family Rights Group model to empower families to plan and resolve their own situation as a family.
