Daybreak, a registered charity, is inviting new Coordinators to join our team, as an employed position supporting their Portsmouth Lifelong Links services.
Salary range: £26,300 – £30,300 FTE
Location: Across the county of Wiltshire
Working pattern: Remote and flexible working – there is a need to travel easily within (and occasional outside) the programme area to meet with key individuals, including young people and adults, as well as stakeholders and other professionals. This may require working hours that are suitable and preferable to the individuals involved to enable effective engagement
Contract: Employed, Full Time, Fixed term until March 2025 with a potential to extend
Closing date: 17 January 2024
Interviews: 22-23 January 2024
We are welcoming compassionate, committed, and professional Coordinators who excel at bringing people together, ensuring everyone is heard and listened to, and delivering quality work for young people, every time. We are looking to expand the use of Family Group Conferences to a wide range of environments and referral agents, beyond the primary focus of children’s social services – so now is a great time to join our growing team.
As a Lifelong Links Coordinator you will facilitate a specific Lifelong Links model with the aim of forming relationships between young people and relatives and/or other connected adults. The Lifelong Links model includes tools and techniques for a professional to use to search and find family members and other adults who care about the child or young person. Coordinated and supported by the Coordinator, the network is brought together in a Family Group Conference (FGC) to make a life-long support plan with, and for, the child or young person, which should be integrated into their care and pathway plans. More about the model and programme can be found in the recruitment pack, below.
We are also advertising for other roles for the Lifelong Links projects in Portsmouth and Wiltshire. Explore our full vacancies.
To apply, please download the recruitment pack and application form, and return to headoffice@daybreakfgc.org.uk. If you need any help with your application or have any questions, please contact us via email or phone 02380 696644.
