On Tuesday 13th September, Family Rights Group hosted a webinar with Paul Nixon, the former Chief Social Worker in New Zealand. Paul compared the experience of New Zealand with family group decision-making procedures with other international cases, including the UK. Watch as he explores the lessons we can learn on family group conferences, kinship care, and the relative roles of the state and the family in protecting the welfare of children.
