L/A paying Solicitors fees any advice please

I had some great advice from Irene & Robin but could anyone else give me some advice what direction to take? my letter of intent for s/g/o went in beginning of March although they have filled forms out for CRB and financial assessment I have heard nothing they asked me to get Solicitor to write to them with her fees as they said they may pay the legal bill the Solicitor wrote to them January 18th and she has heard not a thing as she rang me yesterday to ask if I had heard anything s/s keep saying when is your Solicitor going to write with her fees I have repeatedly told them she wrote to Civic Centre in January and wrote another letter to them as they said they know nothing about her letter there response is we will chase this up I know these things take time but is this normal for them to take this long to say if they are paying legal fees or not as it is coming up to five months since Solicitor wrote to them. Any advice will be much appreciated x

divadi, it sounds as if they're going to say that they haven't received the letter from your solicitor. This letter could be anywhere
