Update on SGO - good news

Hi all,

we have had my nephew since March 2009 when his mother sadly passed away and his dad was in prison.

It has been a long 2.5 years and after 9 court hearings we took on the London Borough of Richmond and won.

In the beginning we went down the complaints procedure route and were told it was a "Private Arrangement".

Then we had a battle between two local authorities and then finally the judge ruled that my nephew had in fact been a LAC the day his mother died and it was not a private arrangement.

We have one more court hearing to go in October and we should get backpayment.

Just wanted to say thank you all for your help, patience and understanding and all of you who are fighting, don't give up.
