We are currently in a rather long and complex Court procedure for Contact and alteration to the SGO order.
Whilst we are in proceedings, can we request a S91 (14) and a prohibitive steps order instead of trying to do it after the case has finished?
If we do it later, we will incur costs etc., and I fear it would be too late to try and do it then anyway, and doing it whilst in the current process can ultimately save us time and money.
We understand they these orders and not given out lightly, but if we did not deem it necessary, we would not be asking for them!

Dear Cellbar,
Yes, I would certainly apply for any relevant Children Act orders in the current proceedings. You can do this quite easily by completing a C2 application form and the court will either set down for a separate directions appointment or look to have the directions regarding the new applications joined into the next court hearing, if it quite soon. This is much better than waiting to commence new proceedings and you may be criticised for waiting rather than having all the issues dealt with at the same time.
Best wishes,
Suzie
