Re: Wanting advices
Hi
The chances are very slim with this. Solicitors that deal with this are overloaded in dealing with current cases. I have tried over 30 to sue the LA and I have 9 years of human rights breaches and law breach's no solicitor has the capacity to take this on..
Best thing you can do is whistle blow, MPs and so on.
You can try no win no fee on google and submit your case but honestly do not hold your breath. Their first priority is family in crisis and courts, they do not have the response to sue for damages unless you go private and pay

Welcome to the parents’ discussion forum and thank you for posting.
My name is Suzie, online adviser at Family Rights Group. I see from your post that you are going through the formal complaints process and have now escalated your complaint to the local government and social care ombudsman (LG0).
Our service advises on matters where children’s services are directly involved. You have already followed the steps we would advise where there are concerns about how a case was managed by children’s services.
You are considering making a claim for discrimination against the local authority related to you how you were treated as a deaf person. I think it is important to be clear regarding what you are asking, for example, stating the ground/grounds of discrimination you wish to rely on.
It may be more helpful for you to get advice of a service that offers support specifically for discrimination. Disability Rights UK 0330 995 0400 or the Equality Advisory support service 0808 800 0082 may be able to give you more information or suggest where you can get the advice you need regarding a claim.
As you have taken your complaint to the LGO it might be helpful to wait for the outcome of their investigation of your complaint.
If you believe that there is a discriminatory policy being implemented by the local authority generally, you may wish to consider judicial review.
I am sorry you have so far been unable to identify a solicitor so far but hope you will get assistance from the signposted services above.
Best wishes
suzie
