Unread post by Lovingmummy1991 » Wed Jul 01, 2026 3:03 am

My child was taken… at my birth my child had swelling on her head she was okay and they told us to keep an eye on it, but 12 days in after all midwife visits and no one saying anything we bathed her and it looked more prominent so they asked where tne marks where from and asked the nhs and they said she had no marks on her records but she even had a big scratch across her forehead tjat wasn’t documented … we’ve lost her because if this but we never made those marks !!!! They didn’t even let us finish our baby steps class, the parenting assessment was unfair they left me in Tears suicidal, we’ve been totally forgotten but we never caused those marks and no one said we did, olease someone tell me what to do as it’s been over 21 days, but I’m now in rehab this is the nhs not documenting stuff we were only on a CIN AND TNEY BLACK MAILLED me into taking her to the CP medical aswell! What do I do please …

Dear Lovingmummy1991,

Thank you for your post. I am so sorry to hear how difficult things are for you and how distressed you are about the court’s decision to place your daughter for adoption.

I replied to your post which you made on the 28th June – you can find my reply HERE. I would suggest that you read through this as it has some advice which might be helpful to you.

In particular, you might find it helpful to get some support from PAC-UK as they support birth families when children are at risk of being adopted. You can call them on 0300 1800 090 or email them at [email protected].

You might also find it helpful to contact MATCH mothers who provide emotional support to mothers who are living apart from their children, whatever the reason. You can call them on 0800 689 4104.

Should you wish to speak with one of our experienced advisers, you can do so by telephoning our free confidential advice line on 0808 801 0366. The advice line is open from 9.30am to 3.00pm Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays).

I hope this is helpful to you.

Best wishes,
Suzie
