Desperate need for advice

Unread post by Whale468 » Tue Feb 12, 2019 1:55 pm

I really need some advice but if I write about my situation on here, then anyone who knows about me or my case will know exactly who I am. I have tried so many times to call the advice line but can't get through. Is there any way I can get some advice without using a public message board?

Dear Whale468,

I am sorry to hear you are having difficulty getting through to us via our advice line. We are very busy and the best thing to do is keep trying. During school holidays, it can often be quieter.

If you posted on the Parents Board you could keep it anonymous by not putting the ages of your children. You could say they are at primary or nursery level, for example. You could also say generally why children services might be involved. For example, due to domestic violence or allegations of…

Exceptionally, I can answer a post if you PM me. It is not ideal and there would usually be a further delay.

You could read our FAQ’s which cover a lot of different situations and might answer your question. Or look at the interactive service.

Best wishes,

Suzie
