one child on care and pregnant again
hi I have a child in care thanks to an ex I went to court but lost and now I'm pregnant again I'm worried they will take this child it's been over two years now and I've done various things to show I wouldn't make the same mistake again does anyone have any advice on how I can fight to keep this one

Hi Confusedmum,
I think CS will only become involved depending on the reason they became involved with your previous Child. If you have moved onto a new relationship and have changed your circumstances then perhaps they will not become involved. I would discuss with your Midwife and get all the advice you can at this point. Recently there have been a number of similiar posts on the site and it may be worth reading these for any helpful advice or reasuring information.
Hope this helps.

Hi hun, I don't want to upset you but you need to perpare for the worst, it's true that if you have made changes & are in a different stable relationship they may not take your baby into care at birth, but they will be involved with you in some way & in the majority of cases will place in care until assessments are complete. I'm not saying it will happen to you as I don't know your history & previous case, but it will be harder to deal with if it comes out of the blue, I advise you contact LA yourself & request assessment now (it will look better that you self report) & it also gives you more time to do any courses ect that will improve your chances xx good luck & feel free to read my post 'is there any hope' xx I'm happy to talk if you need somebody, I'm going through this myself so I know where your coming from.
