My step dad wants to adopt me I am 45 been married and divorced, can you get past section 12 of the adoption rule?

Welcome to the parents forum and thankyou for your post. We offer advice to people who have children’s services involvement which does not appear to be the case for you.
However I can advise you that adult adoption is not legal in the UK and only a child under the age of 18 can be legally adopted in the UK.
