Dear Queen2020
Thank you for posting on the discussion board. My name is Suzie, I am an online adviser and will be responding to you today. Please accept our apologies for the delayed response.
You are working in a care home; the children are living with your mother and due to return to your care in March. You are seeking advice on whether you need to inform your manager about the return of your children.
The children were removed from your care because they had contact with their father when it was not safe for them to do so.
Could you please clarify under what circumstances children’s services are involved with your family? This will enable us to respond with a focussed response.
To assist you with this, I have listed below some links to the possible circumstances. You can also find further information under our A-Z of advice, in the get help and advice section of our website located on our homepage. If you click on the arrow you will see a drop down menu with various headings, one of which is the A-Z.
Care (and related proceedings)
Section 20
Child Protection
We look forward to hearing from you in due course.
Best wishes, Suzie
