Some children DO RETURN HOME!!

Ive not been on here for a while as not much has been happening. We are still in proceedings as due to social constantly delaying everything 26 weeks has turned into 40 weeks and counting we are at the ‘final evidence/statement & care plan stage’ SS were meant to file their Monday 30th but instead they filed asking for an extension. They wanted until 4pm today to file their statement etc. Again 4pm came and they never filed although they have made it quite clear that all professionals are in agreement that all 5 children return home. They just can’t agree on how to do it. But they are definitely coming home

Just thought I’d come on and say that some children DO return home at the end as when I first found this page everyone’s outcomes seemed to be a bad one but I am guessing the ones that do get their kids back no longer feel the need to come on here.

It’s a long road and it isn’t easy but it’s definitely possible!

wow congrats im so glad you got your children back thats great news its always a long road ahead for a fight but you always get there in the end just make sure you treasure every moment as they grow up to fast.

It is a social issue some children lose when they go outside of the home. because they don't know the address of their home, so we need to tell them if they might have lost it and what they can do to return home.

Zad78 - My eldest is smart and knows where home is. I agree often kids are ferried around in cars and have no sense of direction or know how to use public transport. My eldest would know what bus or train to catch and is very savvy.
