Hi
I just want to know where I stand, supervision order is coming to an end next month dad walked out of my daughter life over 1 year ago.
They havent had contact in over 1 year, his choice he has always been inconsistent, now he is saying he would like contact SW said the LA don't get involved in contact decisions. I don't have contact with and don't want to {DV} I will happily communicate via a 3rd party. I know that he wants things his way and I dont think he we can come to an agreement where do I stand?
As his inconsistency has deeply affected my daughter she's 5 btw I don't want to be in a position where it affects her emotional wellbeing again. As I dont think contact should start of direct I think it should indirect e.g video call once a week and build up from but I know for sure he's not going to agree to that. I just dont want to go back and forth.
Thanks
Supervsion order

Re: Supervsion order
Dear Goldensky1901
Thank you for your post.
For contact arrangements it may be advisable to apply for a Child Arrangements Order, here is some information about how to do this from Advice Now.
You have said that the father may not be agreeable, but you may want to attempt to make an agreement regarding contact, here is some information about how to do this from Child Law Advice.
I hope this information is helpful.
Best wishes
