My ex has been threatening my and my partner with court and social services and although I've had people tell me that I haven't got anything to worry about, because I was in a mentally abusive relationship with this man, over 10 years ago I'll add, when he threatens me it still gets under my skin and causes me to panic.
He's obsessed with the notion that I "cheated" on him. I didn't cheat and I sleep well knowing this. However he's now saying he has 'proof' people at my old job 'confirmed' that I'd cheated and that he was is going to take me to court. I'd just just to point out I don't know anyone who is still at my old place of work and those I do, I still keep in contact with and I know don't like my ex for various reasons.
Anyway, my question is, is there anything he could take me to court for? We have a 13 year old son together who he has stay once a week and he's currently slowly convincing our son that I did this 'act'. We were living together at the time however we had split because of how controlling he was in our relationship.
He keeps telling our son he's not allowed to say anything to me about it but he's taking me to court. I can't seem to think what ground he has to take me to court and for what? He has previously threatened social services which his school has reassured me they have no concerns over my son's well being at home and they now know how my ex reacts to certain situations and have offered my son and I support if we need it. When he came home yesterday he said to us that he's not allowed to tell me anything and we were told he's been told not to say anything and that the court has nothing to do with us. So he's threatening to take me to court but apparently I'm not allowed to know what I'm being taken to court for? Surely I'd have to be aware of the reasoning why I'm being taken to court?
