For a Childs feet not to grow in 18 months?
My lo is now 9 years old and has been kept by my ex for over a year now.
18 months ago when I had my lo Liveing with me. Needed summer shoes and was then a size 11 and almost out of them with toes near end. But feet wernt quiet big enough for a 12. And I couldnt afford Clarks at the time. Anyway I saw my lo at contact today and noticed when took shoes off only a size 11 still. My child is now 9 years old. I have had this problem before with my ex husband and he had bought size 10 boots that were clearly to small when lo was a size 11. Had gone to dads for weekend and he had thrown my lo new trainers away and lo came home in to tight boots.
The point im makeing is should I raise my concerns to my lo sw as is on child protection being with the dad. He limits my contact to a contact centre. Until lo is returned to me.
is it normal

Dear dvsurvivor,
Yes, if you have worries about your child when there is a child protection plan, you should think about raising them with the social worker or the school nurse-who will be involved in monitoring your child’s health for the child protection plan.
Best wishes,
Suzie
