Dear anon0381

Welcome to the parents' discussion board. My name is Suzie one of FRG's online advisers. Generally, my role is to give advice where Children's Services are involved

As your post specifically relates to Multi Agency Public Protection Arrangements (or MAPPA) , is the multi agency planning and review process and information sharing protocol between police, prison and probation service when sexual and/or violent offences need to be considered due to issues of public interest.

Where the matter relates to a young offender the youth justice board and LEgal Aid, Sentencing and Punishment of Offenders Act 2012 (LASPO) can be found on page 101 of Working Together 2015 guidance.

You may find it useful to refer to the guidance about the circumstances when public protection notification is required.

I hope this helps.

Best Wishes

Suzie
