AAA resolution assessment
AAA resolution assessment
11 years ago my eldest was taken into foster care with non accidental injuries I didn’t know how or who but they courts ruled adoption as both myself and my husband could not be ruled out of pool or perpetrators and since they refused to look elsewhere we was the only ones in it, then I had another 2 children that was taken into care and adopted I had a negative psychological assessment in 2017 which was when I lost my daughter, it was recommended we did therapy but I wasn’t in the mental place to do it after she was adopted and then forgot about it entirely, last year myself and my husband decided we wanted to try have another child, since for 3 years I’d been allowed unsupervised contact with my niece overnight stays and everything and I could supervise my husband (her social worker approved this in 2022) We fell pregnant November last year and we have engaged with the social workers the whole time and a few weeks before my son was born they told me that they would be going to court as they still didn’t know the risks of a child being with us as we still couldn’t explain what happened to our eldest, our parenting has never been in question it’s simply the unknown of the injuries and I get that, we have recently had a updated psychological which we are awaiting the report but we are also doing an AAA Resolution assessment too, all the contact is positive and we’re being assessed together and separately as I can’t go through losing another child has anyone been successful with the resolution assessments before I’m losing hope that I’m going get him home (I can still have unsupervised contact with my niece)
