Do I have a right to say what school my child goes to

I Have two children a little girl & a little boy, they are under an sgo with my ex-best friend, my little girl Is due to start school next year, & I was under the impression we was allowed to say what school we would like are little girl to go to but, the gaurdian had the last say, but the gaurdian & her sgo support worker said me & my partner aren’t allowed to know what school she goes to we are not allowed to say what school we would like her to go to & we are not allowed to go to parents evenings & the support worker even said we don’t have any rights to our children, im so upset it’s making me feel bad mentally
