IRH adjourned AGAIN

Unread post by mamaof5 » Tue Mar 07, 2023 11:42 am

We had our IRH today which was ideally also going to be the final hearing but once again the LA never filed the correct papers.
They never filed a transition plan, NSPCC research evidence or their final summary so now no decisions have been made and it has now been adjourned until April!!!!!
My children’s lives are now going to be hanging in the balance for even longer because of social care’s laziness. I am well aware they have done this on purpose to delay everything further and it’s absolutely ridiculous they can just get away with it!!

My solicitor now says the transition home will now be put on hold until after the next court hearing 💔😭😭😭

Dear Mamaof5

Thank you for the updating information. How frustrating for you that the care proceedings were unable to resolve at the issues resolution hearing (IRH) and that the transition plan for your children will be delayed. In some situations, work towards a transition plan can be initiated before a final hearing takes place. However, this will depend on the situation and circumstances. Your solicitor, who has all the information before them, is in the best position to advise you on this.

Best wishes, Suzie
