Everything went really well to the point she's now allowed my partner to be in the family home (supervised) during the day until we can do the assessments to allow him home full time. It's not 100% where we want but its amazing news so far.
Thank you so much for your update. I think it is very important when posters share positive outcomes here as it is likely to help others in similar situations.
It is very good news that children’s services are working with you and your partner towards his return to the family home full time. Children’s services have recognised from you and your partner the hard work and your understanding of their concerns which has led to the situation you are now in.
You say that the assessment has not yet been completed but it seems likely it could be positive. To give more clarity, you can ask the social worker to give you a timescale for the assessment and find out what else if anything you can do now.
I encourage you to continue engaging positively with children’s services to get the outcome that you and your partner wish for your family.
Well done and keep positive.
Do post any again if you have any questions or to update us.
Best wishes
Suzie
