Postgraduate Certificate

Family Rights Group is pleased to offer, in partnership with the University of Salford, a postgraduate certificate in family group conferences.

The first intake of students was in September 2019 and there are future intake dates throughout the year in February, June and September.

The Social Work Department at the University of Salford is keen for family group conferences to be central to its training programmes and places considerable value in working with Family Rights Group to be able to achieve this. This partnership with the University gives academic validity to Family Rights Group’s family group conference coordinator training programme.

The course is suitable for practicing family group conference coordinators who wish to expand on their knowledge and gain an academic and professional qualification.

It is an online distance learning course of two modules, each consisting of 10 hours of lectures and six hours of tutorials.

The University of Salford will administer the programme. Students will register with the University at the beginning of the course and all of the arrangements concerning fees and student support will be undertaken by the University.
