Our online advice forums are an anonymous space where parents and kinship carers (also known as family and friends carers) can get legal and practical advice, build a support network and learn from other people’s experiences.
Our get help and advice section has template letters, advice sheets and resources about legal and social care processes. On Monday and Thursday afternoons, you can use our webchat service to chat online to an adviser.
Please see below for dates and complete the form to indicate which meetings you would like to attend. All meetings listed below are facilitated virtually via Zoom. We will use your information to help efficiently collate attendee lists, keep track of numbers and capacity and to circulate meeting invites, agendas and Zoom links. Please complete the form accurately (including the email address field) to ensure we are able to send you the relevant information.

We will continue to add dates on a rolling basis. Please note that this form should only be used by members of the Family Rights Group family group conference and Lifelong Links network. More information on network membership can be found here. Lifelong Links managers meetings and practice learning sets are for local authorities who currently have a Lifelong Links training and consultancy package with Family Rights Group. We will review bookings when received and may need to cancel registrations that do not meet the event criteria. The FGC managers meetings and network meetings remain open to all network members.
