Our online advice forums are an anonymous space where parents and kinship carers (also known as family and friends carers) can get legal and practical advice, build a support network and learn from other people’s experiences.
Our get help and advice section has template letters, advice sheets and resources about legal and social care processes. On Monday and Thursday afternoons, you can use our webchat service to chat online to an adviser.
Broadcast live on the BBC, the Great North Run 2026 will see 60,000 runners take on this half marathon challenge. They’ve already welcomed over a million runners across the finish line – now it’s your turn!
To secure one of our places for the Great North Run 2026, we’re asking for £60 and that you aim to raise a further £300 in fundraising. You will receive a Family Rights Group t-shirt or running vest, we’ll help you set up an on-line fundraising page and you’ll take part in a fabulous run in aid of an excellent cause.
