Our online advice forums are an anonymous space where parents and kinship carers (also known as family and friends carers) can get legal and practical advice, build a support network and learn from other people’s experiences.
Our get help and advice section has template letters, advice sheets and resources about legal and social care processes. On Monday and Thursday afternoons, you can use our webchat service to chat online to an adviser.
For Neurodiversity Celebration Week 2026, one of the members of our kinship carers’ panel suggested a ‘blanket of positivity’ featuring quotes from children and families who identify as neurodivergent or neurodiverse.
A patchwork quilt is made up of lots of pieces of fabric of different designs, patterns and colours to make something unique, strong and beautiful. So we have stitched together stories from our panel members about their experience of neurodiversity.
