Make a difference to the lives of kinship families across England and Wales. The Kinship Care Alliance (KCA) is looking for a new co-chair to provide leadership for members, help us fulfil our mission and enable us to operate effectively. The co-chair acts as an ambassador for the Kinship Care Alliance and represents its values and objectives.

This is an important time to jointly lead the Alliance during a period of key developments in policy, practice and law. Applications are welcomed from those with lived experience of kinship care and from those with professional experience and knowledge of kinship care.

To apply please submit a statement of interest (no more than 500 words) by 5pm on 31 January 2025.

Candidate statements will be shared with the KCA membership on Monday 3 February 2025 when the voting period begins, and the voting period will close on Monday 17 February 2025. The chosen candidate will be expected to attend a Kinship Care Alliance meeting on 4 March 2025 to meet Alliance members.
