Our get help and advice section has template letters, advice sheets and resources about legal and social care processes. On Monday and Wednesday afternoons, you can use our webchat service to chat online to an adviser.

This includes providing face-to-face or virtual support in writing letters. Letterbox co-ordinators can help mediate between birth and adopted family to ensure the child’s best interests remain the focus. Together for Adoption also offer a duty service Monday to Friday 9 – 4pm to provide advice, guidance and signposting for birth family members regarding tracing and contact.
