Working with Families Affected by Domestic Abuse

Family Rights Group has developed resources for local authority decision makers and social workers working with families affected by domestic abuse.

We have also produced frequently asked questions for practitioners working for domestic abuse organisations.

We can be commissioned by children’s services to deliver training and consultancy to promote effective policies and practices when working with families, where there is, or has been, domestic abuse.

We can also be commissioned to provide training on law and the child welfare system to practitioners working for domestic abuse organisations who are advocating for parents whose children are subject to child protection enquiries.

Our training courses are co-delivered with parents who are survivors of domestic abuse.
