Working Together is government guidance which sets out services and what professionals need to do to keep children safe and promote their welfare.
It is aimed at directors of children’s services and senior managers. It is also aimed at professionals who work with children. It sets out:
- What the law requires them to do to keep children safe.
- What they can expect other professionals to do.
- How they should work together with families.
The guidance is for children’s services and other services that work with children and families. This includes schools, health services, youth offending teams and the police, as well as adult services.
